Privacy Policy

This policy describes the personal-use AeroNexum Home Assistant Nest integration and its handling of data authorized through Google's Device Access services. The integration is intended for the account owner and authorized household members, not as a public consumer service.
Information accessed
With the Google account owner's permission, the integration may access supported Nest device identifiers, thermostat settings and environmental readings, device state, camera streams or events, and related metadata, depending on the devices and permissions selected.
How information is used
Data is used to display household device status, control supported devices, present camera information, and support user-configured home automations. This data is not used for advertising or sold.
Processing, storage and sharing
Authorized data is processed through Google Device Access and Google Cloud services as needed to communicate with the privately operated Home Assistant server. Home Assistant may retain device histories, configuration data, or events locally, subject to its configured retention settings and backups. Data is made available to household users authorized by the operator and to service providers necessary for the connection, such as Google, under their respective terms. It is not intentionally shared with unrelated third parties.
Security
Access to the Home Assistant server is controlled by account authentication and home-network configuration. OAuth credentials are stored in the operator's private configuration rather than on this public informational website. As with any connected service, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
Local device records and related data are retained according to the Home Assistant configuration and backup policy. The operator can delete local records or backups where available and can remove the Nest integration. Account owners can revoke Google's authorization through their Google account's third-party connections or the applicable Device Access controls.

This policy may change if devices, integrations, storage practices, or sharing arrangements change. Updates will be published on this page.
